Scotty Cameron Red X X3 Putter / 33 Inches. In early 2003 Scotty started working on two designs code-named the "coupe" and cabriolet. Players on Tour were asking for a traditional mallet so Scotty listened to what they were looking for and got to work. He started with the shape, which he wanted to keep simple, and experimented with different metals to achieve the sound and feel that complements the design.

The result is a stainless steel body with a premium precision milled German stainless steel (GSS) insert. The insert has an elastomer border, which helps achieve the proper sound. Scotty also refined the shaft bend and kept it simple, opting for a single bend shaft giving a clear, unobstructed view of the ball. The "cabriolet" is a traditional mallet shape with the top down!
