In addition, the 2.5 features a rolled topline and a high toe for a distinctive profile. The exceptional features that set the Studio Design models apart--milled from softcarbon steel, flowing necks and a re-designed grip are all part of the Model 2.5. Scotty is always looking to refine his putters and in 2003 the 2.5 received a new finish called Iridescent Black Pearl that is nearly maintenance free. This finish, with its dark smoke color and iridescent look, has great sound and feel as well as being rust resistant.
